• Support the month end close cycle and accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Prepare and submit monthly invoices.
• Process bi-weekly payrolls and associated benefits.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Review expenses monthly to ensure accruals are accurate.
• Manage Fixed Assets and monthly depreciation calculations.
• Prepare reports for SOX requirements.
• Prepare local sales tax filings.
• Provide support to other areas accounting as needed.
• Support annual financial and SOX audits.

• BS/BA degree in accounting.
• 3-5 years accounting experience preferred in general accounting, including areas of Accounts Payable and General Ledger and the month end close cycle.
• Exhibit positive and professional demeanor. Discretion is extremely important.
• Ability to work well with a small team.
• Applicants selected must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance; Therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Exercise ability to effectively communicate issues, concerns, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to personnel.
• Ability to multi-task and flexibility in working in different areas of accounting as business needs change.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Costpoint experience preferred.
